THE GAMIFICATION SOFTWARE AWARD FINALISTS 2019
The time has come for us to announce our finalists for the Gamification Software Award 2019!
We had some fantastic entries to the awards and the judges were blown away by the creativity and determination of all the applicants. Again, we would like to apologise for the wait, we wanted to make sure our judges had enough time to give each application the time and attention they deserve.
So… without further ado… your 2019 finalists!
The Gamification Awards Gamification Software Award Finalists
- The Beaconing Platform - Gamified and Pervasive Lesson Plan Authoring and Management System - Aligning with the importance of the sense of ownership, purpose and also the aim for achieving competency in delivering engaging resources to learners, the Beaconing project funded by the European Commission Horizon 2020 programme (Arnab, 2017; Stefan et al., 2018) investigated gamified approaches for digitally enabling play-learn in everyday spaces that foster cross-subject learning.
- Oskar Wegner - Gameful Gamification Platform- Primary they created their gamification platform for one of the biggest banks in Poland. Relying on the gamification solutions used in it, they created a box platform that will allow them to launch projects quickly and cheaply with no sacrifice to players’ engagement.
The platform consists of two major parts:
1.The game layer resembling commercial on-line game (city builder simulator)
2. Business layer containing gamified business tasks (monthly targets, leaderboards, set of activities rewarded on daily basis etc.)
- 3radical for Standard Chartered Bank - As a forward-thinking organisation Standard Chartered is continuously looking for ways in it can improve the effectiveness of the cyber security training delivered to employees.
With the the volume of existing security training materials increasing, along with the number of channels used to communicate that content, Standard Chartered were looking for a way to consolidate learning materials into a single online learning destination and then employ new techniques to drive greater engagement and ultimately effect positive behaviour change.
3radical’s ‘Voco’ audience engagement platform was therefore selected by the bank as the basis for the required solution, with the platform's wide-range of engagement mechanics being used to allow employees to be targeted with specific gamified learning activities based on each employee’s job function, location and security risk profile.
Our judges are honoured to be judging all the entries. They are scattered across the world working hard to submit their scores ready to announce the winners of the award categories!
We’d personally like to say a HUGE congratulations to our finalists of the Gamification Software Award. We hope you are as excited as we are to be announcing this and we now can’t wait to see who our judges crown as their winners!
Of course, we would also like to say congratulations to all the entries to our award categories this year. We’re so thrilled we get to see new and existing gamified projects being entered into the awards and love all of your determination and excitement for the gamification industry!
