The Gamification Awards 2019 Award Categories

After a great success with the Gamification in Sustainability Award, here at The Gamification Awards we have been working hard on deciding what our next award categories will be for 2019.

In previous years the awards have been apart of the Gamification Europe Conference and it has been fun presenting the winners with their awards during the conferences in 2017 and 2018. This year, we decided to do things differently!

The Gamification Awards, for the first time, are going it alone! We announced our Sustainability award back in July and tested out our new awards engine and processes. With fantastic entries to the Sustainability award, we couldn’t wait to start thinking about the remaining 2019 categories.

You may have seen our mini guessing game on social media, teasing our new award categories, so we won’t keep you waiting any longer…

The Gamification in Marketing Award will go to a marketing project that displays the power of gamification in spreading a company’s message to a wide audience. This could include loyalty programmes, customer acquisition, campaigns and audience engagement.

We are looking for award entries that have used gamification to improve learning and education. This award will seek to recognise excellent use of gamification that has achieved sustainable, measurable and positive outcomes for learning.

The Gamification Software Award category aims to showcase the best platforms for implementing gamification and making an impact on organisations and people. This award could include platforms, engines, AR, VR, MR, IoT, blockchain, integrations or apps. The winner of the Gamification Software Award will have used gamification to great effect

The Gamification in HR (Human Resources) Award will recognise where gamification has been used to great effect in employee engagement, recruitment, induction, well-being, innovation, productivity, culture change or leadership. This award is not limited to these categories but should be used as an indicator of the types of subjects that can be covered in this award.

We are looking for award entries that have used gamification to improve healthcare. There are many ways gamification can help aid healthcare issues and we have come up with a few topics which can be covered in this award: apps, fitness, exercise, medication management, chronic condition management, physical therapy, rehabilitation, healthy eating, nutrition, condition detection, memory or addiction.

We hope that you are as excited as we are for our new award categories! If you or anyone you know has used gamification in any of these categories, then we’d love to see your applications. Still need convincing to enter our awards?
