We've been very busy here at The Gamification Awards and we were so excited to announce the winners of the Gamification Software Award 2019! After all the excitement had passed, we decided to catch up with our winner and find out how it felt to be announced as winners and what this meant for their gamified platform.
Aligning with the importance of the sense of ownership, purpose and also the aim for achieving competency in delivering engaging resources to learners, The Beaconing Project, funded by the European Commission Horizon 2020 programme (Arnab, 2017; Stefan et al., 2018) investigated gamified approaches for digitally enabling play-learn in everyday spaces that foster cross-subject learning. The project produced a tool that enables teachers to author and co-create gamified and pervasive lesson plans. At The Gamification Awards we love to catch up with our winners and finalists and think its great to see how they plan to develop their platforms in the future and how they hope that becoming a winner will help them.
