Gamification Software Award

The Gamification Software Award category aims to showcase the best platforms for implementing gamification and making an impact on organisations and people. This includes but is not limited to platforms, engines, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), mixed reality (MR), Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, integrations and apps. This award seeks to recognise excellent use of gamification that has achieved a sustainable, measurable and positive impact on people and organisations. 

Entrants can be individuals, teams or organisations from anywhere in the world.

Judging Criteria



The winner of the Gamification in Software Award will have built a gamified platform or applied gamification to an already built platform.

 Entrants will be able to detail their approach to gamification and show how and why they chose the gamification elements that were used.

The winning project will be an exemplar of good gamification design.



Has your project worked?

We will be looking for projects that have delivered a project where gamification was a crucial component. We will also be looking at the effectiveness of the project for the amount of effort and money put into the project (Return on Investment). 

The winning project will be an inspiration to others to apply gamification elements to help create a positive impact on organisations and people. 



Is your project novel and inventive?

We will be looking for playful designs with creative choices and implementations of game elements. We will also be looking at how the game elements  are themed within the project and how immersive the design or narrative is.

The winning project will be striking and attract lots of attention.

Sandra Abadir is the Co-Founder of GamUp, LTD. (For Gamification Services, Training, & Consultancy). Steering Committee Member and content lead at GamFed (International Gamification Confederation) yet has also explored different fields of creativeness, a bachelor degree in Architecture & environmental designs graduate,she was also a scholarship student at school for 3 consecutive years. Sandra is an imaginative architectural engineer, a great graphic designer who has meticulous eye to details and a witty writer, she prevailed an event planning competition where her design stood out among other applicants.
