The Gamification Software Award category aims to showcase the best platforms for implementing gamification and making an impact on organisations and people. The award will go to the individual, organisation or business that has created unique examples where gamification has been used to have a positive effect on organisations and people.

This includes but is not limited to platforms, engines, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), mixed reality (MR), Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, integrations and apps. The product will be inventive and creative and have proof of its effectiveness.

We are looking for award entries that have used gamification to improve learning and education. This award seeks to recognise excellent use of gamification that has achieved a sustainable, measurable and positive impact for learning.

This includes but is not limited to eLearning, classroom, workplace or MOOC. Successful applicants in the Gamification in Education and Learning Award will have created the most inventive ideas which help develop the learning environment. Unique in process and design will help your application stand out.

Entries can be for digital and/or analogue projects. Entrants will be able to detail their approach to gamification and show how and why they chose the gamification elements that were used. Entrants can be individuals, teams or organisations from anywhere in the world.

Gamification in healthcare

  • ABOUT THE AWARD

The Gamification in Healthcare award has been created for individuals or organisations that have used gamification for apps, fitness, exercise, medication management, chronic condition management, physical therapy, rehabilitation, healthy eating, nutrition, condition detection, memory or addiction.

This award is not limited to these categories but should be used as an indicator of the types of subjects that can be covered in this award. The winning project will be an inspiration to others to apply gamification to healthcare platforms.

 Entrants can be individuals, teams or organisations from anywhere in the world.

We are a community of passionate gamification professionals. We use game mechanics in non-game environments to drive positive behaviors like engagement and performance. Well designed gamification programs benefit everyone: the gamifier, the player and the wider community. Our GamFed members share best practice, we review each other’s work and work together to educate and develop our shared market. We are a non-profit member organisation, run for the benefit of all members. A rising tide lifts all boats.

  • ABOUT THE AWARD

The Gamification in HR Award aims to recognise where gamification has been used to great effect to help in employee engagement, recruitment, retention, induction, well-being, innovation, productivity, culture change and leadership. This award is not limited to these categories but should be used as an indicator of the types of subjects that can be covered in this award. 

We will be looking for a  proven positive impact on employee engagement and ways the gamification platform aids in HR. We will also be looking at the effectiveness of the project for the amount of effort and money put into the project (return on investment). 

Entries can be for digital and/or analogue projects. Entrants can be individuals, teams or organisations from anywhere in the world.

Gamification Europe specialises in organising events with thought leaders and experts in gamification.

The 2019 edition of their event is expecting over 200 attendees, speakers, and sponsors. Gamification Europe aims to share the most useful and up-to-date content about gamification and related game based technologies.

The Gamification in Marketing award will go to a marketing project that displays the power of gamification in spreading a company’s message to a wide audience. This includes but is not limited to loyalty programmes, customer acquisition, campaigns, agency and audience engagement. We want to see impressive engagement and clear impact from the campaign.

The winner of the Sustainable Gamification Award will have used and applied gamification into a system to help with environmental problems or issues. The product will be inventive and creative and have proof of its effectiveness.
